Macadamia Oil Extract Shampoo & Conditioner

You always hear people talk about their favourite accessories and quite often they’re talking about their favourite shoes, belt, hand bag, necklace or even tiny stud earrings. While I too enjoy all of these accessories, I’d still have to say that for me, my hair is my favourite accessory.

Trust me, hair makes such a big difference in your appearance. You can be wearing a plain white T, blue jeans and sneakers with no make up on, but your bouncy and polished hair can take your look to the next level! No joke!

I wasn’t blessed with the type of hair that can look flawless no matter what the weather conditions are. Sadly, I live in a place where it’s humid 99% of the time, so you know what that means. FRIZZ! FRIZZ! FRIZZ! Sometimes I feel like my hair might just eat me.

My shampoo and conditioner plays a major role in how my hair will behave after I’ve washed it and honestly, it’s quite a gamble each time. I would literally pray to all hair gods in existence while applying conditioner.

For a long time I was using the Suave Keratin infusion shampoo and conditioner, but for some reason the stores in my country stopped selling the conditioner… specifically the keratin infusion conditioner. ALL other infusions were still available, but as fate would have it, the specific one that I needed was no longer at my disposal. After this inconvenience, I was now on the hunt for another set of shampoo and conditioner that would tame my hair.

After months of searching, I finally stumbled upon the Macadamia Oil Extract Shampoo & Conditioner. I must admit that this was an accidental find. One day I was at the store and the design on the bottle caught my attention so I bought it. I have been using it for a year now and it works just as good as the Suave one I was using before. After a while of using just the shampoo and conditioner, I decided to try the Macadamia Oil Hair Mask. Ever since I started to use these products, my hair has done great at fighting against the humidity. It leaves my hair feeling soft and silky! It’s also moisturising and leaves my hair shiny without making it greasy.

Hair Washing Routine:

Now, I have come up with my own hair washing routine that works great for me. Firstly, I wet my hair with warm water and apply the conditioner only to the ends of my hair then let it sit for about 5 minutes. Next, I rinse it out with warm water and proceed to shampooing. If needed, I shampoo a second time. Again, I rinse out the shampoo with warm water. Then, I towel dry my hair and carefully use a wide toothed comb to smoothen out the strands. Next, I apply the hair mask mostly to my ends and a little bit near my roots. I leave the mask to work its magic for 10 minutes then rinse it out with luke warm water. I wrap my head in a towel for about 5 minutes so it can soak up the excess water then I comb out my hair. I finish off everything with a pea sized drop of my Fantasia Inter Cellular Hair Polisher and leave my hair to air dry.

I’m so pleased with the way these products work and I would definitely recommend them! I tried to look for them online so I could attach the applicable links, but unfortunately I was not able to find any… Sorry! However, if you ever stumble across these products don’t hesitate to give them a try.
